Visit to Rumah Anak Yatim Shafar
On 29 April 2026, a meaningful visit was carried out by representatives from Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC), in collaboration with Yayasan Yaacob. Guided by the foundation’s mission to make opportunities more accessible and to support those in need, the group delivered essential food supplies to Rumah Anak Yatim Shafar in Johor.
The home shelters 20 girls between the ages of 7 and 17, all from asnaf families across various districts in Johor. Despite their young age, the girls welcomed the visitors with warmth, showing resilience and gratitude.
This initiative reflects Yayasan Yaacob’s commitment not only to promoting educational awareness and supporting students through financial assistance, but also to extending care to communities in need. By easing basic burdens, the foundation continues to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.
Through this simple yet meaningful contribution, the visit served as a reminder that compassion and support play an important role in building a brighter future for everyone.
